ACCESSIBLE BATHROOMS
Winter School is taking place in the Institute for Lifecourse and Society (ILAS). The ILAS Building has 3 accessible bathrooms, one on each floor. There is a fixed hoist and changing area in one bathroom and a portable hoist which can be used in another.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY
We have a limited number of wheelchair accessible spaces in the auditorium where the presentations will take place. Please notify us in advance using the attached questionnaire if you are a wheelchair user or have difficulty with stairs, so we can ensure that we reserve you a space.
HEARING LOOP AND CAPTIONING
The auditorium has a hearing loop and live captioning will be available for each presentation every day. Transcripts from each presentation will be available on our website.
SIGN LANGUAGE
There will be Sign Language interpreters, but please note we can only provide Irish Sign Language Interpretation.
ACCESSIBLE PROGRAMME
The programme is available in English Braille and large print and we ask you to notify us in advance using the attached questionnaire if you require this. We also aim to provide you with access to as many presentations as possible in advance.
ASSISTANCE
We have a small number student volunteers available to assist participants if required. Students would be available to assist in the conference venue with tasks such as navigating the building or getting lunch. If you would like an assistant assigned to you please give us details on the attached questionnaire.
ELEVATOR AND PARKING

PERSONAL EVACUATION EMERGENCY PLAN (PEEP)
We kindly request that you complete a Personal Evacuation Emergency Plan (PEEP) form at registration if you are wheelchair user, hard of hearing, visually impaired or have reduced mobility.
